He gets his first synthesizer at the age of 7, the first Atari ST incl. Cubase at the age of 12 and after that the first sampler & effects followed by “learning by doing” at the school of hard knocks without any youtube tutorials or music blogs… He started with “dark wave”, “electronic body music” & “synthi pop” and diverse productions and solo projects. Since 2007 Steffen aka “Hanne” is one part of the DJ duo “Hanne & Lore” from Bielefeld.
He doesn’t only produce tracks for “Hanne & Lore” in his studio, furthermore he offers audio mastering focused on high end audio quality by using analogue outboard.
...An old friend from another studio told me to have a look after „Tegeler“...
I tested the VTC in his studio and I was satisfied since the first tone – so I browsed a little bit on the webpage of Tegeler Audio Manufaktur and took really quickly the decision to register for a test drive...
They sent the EQP-1 immediately to my studio and after just an hour of testing on different productions I made the decision to keep the EQ – I really love the characteristic and the style the EQ works in such a musically way. ...
I also like the company philosophy and the incomparable positive and individual way they make contact and also the way they stay in touch...
I’m also looking for a bus-compressor for some time, and I will definitely check the “Creme” from the Tegeler Audio Manufaktur in the near future. I’m really curious, if I’m falling in love with this unit in such a short time as I felt in love with the EQP-1 ;)
